Thank goodness

GUILFORD — My first reaction to the decision on the Vermont Yankee lawsuit was, “Thank goodness!”

Judge Murtha made a wise decision that will benefit Vermont, and he made it despite the whining of special-interest groups, self-appointed “experts,” and self-serving politicians.

Safe, clean, and affordable electric power will continue to be available for Vermonters and businesses for the benefit of all of us average Vermonters who have not been adequately represented in Montpelier.
