Tickets now on sale for ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ at MSA

SAXTONS RIVER — Tickets are now on sale for “Kiss Me, Kate” at Main Street Arts at 32 Main St.

The Cole Porter musical opens Friday, March 1, and runs for two weekends: Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Based on Shakespeare's “The Taming of the Shrew,” “Kiss Me, Kate” in 1949 won the first Tony Award presented for Best Musical.

Stage director is Ben Stockman. Music director is Walt Sayre.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, or $17 and $12 at the door, respectively. Tickets are available at Main Street Arts, Village Square Booksellers in Bellows Falls, and Misty Valley Books in Chester.
