A matter of temperament

BRATTLEBORO — “Ben 'Spoon' Agave: Providing expertise to 'make a good town better'” [News, Feb. 27] was great and gave me a good glimpse into Mr. Agave, whom, after reading this article, I determined I could not support.

I supported Kate O'Connor for the simple reason that she has a better temperament to be on the Selectboard than Mr. Agave.

Plus, I really did not like how he said that he was “running against the O'Connors and everything that name represents....”

No, Mr. Agave, you were not running against the O'Connors. You were running against Kate O'Connor, who, I believe, is a far better person for this role than you.
