Resources for those affected by Boston explosions, and ways to help those in need

Numerous aid groups have stepped forward in the wake of Monday's explosions near the Boston Marathon finish line, which resulted in at least three deaths and more than 140 injured.

The American Red Cross is reporting that they have sufficient supplies of blood in Boston's hospitals for who were injured in Monday's explosions, but they are encouraging people to sign up for future blood drives. Call 800-REDCROSS or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment to give blood, or to get a schedule of upcoming blood drives.

The above contacts may also be used for people who have mental health concerns.

The Red Cross continues to maintain its “safe and well” list at safeandwell.communityos.org/cms/.

The Salvation Army is providing support for first responders at the scene of the explosions, as well as for families of the victims. To support The Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services in Boston, visit donate.salvationarmyusa.org, or call 800-SAL-ARMY.

If you were in Boston near the scene of Monday's explosions and have information about the incident, call the Boston Police tip line at 800-494-8477 or the FBI tip line at 800-CALL-FBI.

If you have photos or videos of Boylston Street during the Marathon, they may be emailed to federal investigators at boston@ic.fbi.gov.
