RE: “Skatepark committee to vote Sept. 19 on downsizing proposal” [News, Sept. 11]:
It's a pity that the Vermont Land Trust withdrew its financial support. The organization should recognize the sustained community effort required to put together a project like this one and remain flexible and understanding of the setbacks that projects like this often encounter.
