Brattleboro-West Arts Flat Street show is extended

BRATTLEBORO — Thanks to positive response from the public and a generous offer by the owner of the space, “14 Artists, 3 Days,” a show and sale featuring members of Brattleboro-West Arts (BWA), will continue Thursday, Dec. 19, through Sunday, Dec. 22, from noon to 5 p.m. each day, in Suite 106 of the C.F. Church Building at 80 Flat St.

The large space was filled at times to near capacity during the Dec. 13 opening reception, and attendance was steady Dec. 14 and 15, despite the weekend's heavy snowfall. Owner Janet Wallstein offered BWA extended use of the space during the holiday shopping season.

The show features the paintings of Petria Mitchell, Jim Giddings, Stephen Lloyd, Janet Picard, and Doug Trump; pottery by Walter Slowinski, Matt Tell, and Malcolm Wright; woven vessels by Jackie Abrams; Bobbi Angell's botanical drawings; blown glass by Josh Bernbaum; silver jewelry by Chris Lann; traditional rug braiding by Kris McDermet; and the photography of Gene Parulis.

Profiles of the participating artists, as well as other BWA members, are viewable online at www.brattleboro-west-arts.com. For more information, email info@brattleboro-west-arts.com or call 802-258-0991.
