Please stop trying to help me

Elayne Clift wrote: “We also know that violence against women across the country is directly related to weak gun laws.”

Actually, we know no such thing. All but two other states in the country have stricter gun laws than Vermont, and each of those states has much higher crime rates.

Anyone who says they are protecting woman by taking away our right to defend ourselves a) does not know what they are talking about, and b) keeps us vulnerable by taking away our first line of defense against violence.

Stop trying to help me, please.
