Subject of story inspiring for those in recovery

I personally know Jedediah Popp, and I have to say how proud I am of him for speaking out for us addicts in recovery. It is so hard for us who go to the clinic for medically-assisted treatment with the stigma that is placed on us all.

I have been sober for almost three years at this time, yet I get the constant condescending looks and hurtful banter that I am not in fact sober because I go to the clinic to keep me the best parent that I am able to be to my three children.

The clinic has saved my life, and I am so thankful that I was able to meet my dear friend Jedd there. He is an amazing person, and he truly inspires me every day to be a better person, and to do the best that I can. He is remarkably open and so easy to get along with.

I look up to him, and I am very proud of how far he has come and where he is at today. Great job, buddy!
