I'm happy to see this train-service upgrade. I would like to see this expansion eventually spur connecting diesel multiple unit/rail diesel car service between Lyndonville or St. Johnsbury and White River Junction.
There might not be a market for a full-size train along that line, but there could be one for a smaller vehicle with lower operating costs.
This sort of service would give the residents and visitors of the small towns in the Upper Valley and Northeast Kingdom a reliable connecting service and could do wonders for that area.
