SAXTONS RIVER — Saxtons River voters will be voting on a proposed bond to finance upgrades to its wastewater treatment plant Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. at 7 p.m., at the Main Street Arts building.
The proposed $3.05 million upgrades to the 40-year-old plant would include installing a sequencing batch reactor system to replace the current system.
Information for voters and a copy of the voter checklist are available on the bulletin board at the fire station.
New voters can register with Town Clerk Doreen Aldrich at the Rockingham Town Hall no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17.
Absentee or early ballots are available by contacting Village Clerk Celia Bohannon at 802-869-2961 until 4:30 p.m. on the day before the election.
