PUTNEY — On Oct. 11, Putney Family Services participated in the annual Harvest Festival at the Putney School.
Our food concession was very successful thanks to the many generous donations from the community. This year, all proceeds will benefit the Putney Community Fuel Fund for those of our neighbors who have need.
The beautiful October morning began with volunteers setting up, doing general prep work, and firing up the grill to begin cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for the hungry festival-goers. The day started slow, but the aroma of the burgers and dogs soon drew many our way.
Many thanks to the businesses and individuals who supported this event. We had a great day, and the event was a phenomenal success!
