An avoidable tragedy

BRATTLEBORO — I am very sorry this happened, I really am. Nick Widomski sounds like a really remarkable young man.

But one does not just “find oneself” in the path of an oncoming train. There was a sidewalk going in the same direction not many yards away from the train bridge.

Please, everyone, do not play on the tracks or use them for a shortcut.
