Wilson passes license exam
BRATTLEBORO - Sperry Wilson of The Richards Group recently passed the state Property & Casualty License Exam, and she is now dually licensed to sell employee benefits and commercial/personal insurance in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
Wilson joined The Richards Group in September 2008 and works out of the Norwich office. Starting as an Account Manager for the Employee Benefits Group, Wilson is an advisor to midsize businesses with expertise in health care reform and both the New Hampshire and Vermont State Exchanges. She is licensed in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

Gordon joins BDCC board
BRATTLEBORO - Steven R. Gordon, President/CEO of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, recently joined 11 other community members in serving on Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation's (BDCC) board of trustees.
BDCC is a private, nonprofit, economic-development organization that serves as a catalyst for industrial and commercial growth throughout Southeastern Vermont, including Windham County and the towns of Readsboro, Searsburg, Weston, and Winhall.
According to BDCC Executive Director Adam Grinold, the board and staff are looking forward to benefiting from Gordon's nearly 30 years of experience in management, which crosses a spectrum of business areas including business administration and workforce and business development in health-care related fields.
Prior to joining BMH in 2011, Gordon served as President/CEO of Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Mass., and as the Chief Administrative Officer for Children's Hospital Boston in Waltham, Mass. He also served previously for seven years as the Vice President for Physician Services and Business Development at Newton Wellesley Hospital/Partners Healthcare and for 13 years as President/CEO of Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.
