Stroll seeks volunteers, vendors

BRATTLEBORO — Strolling of the Heifers is seeking volunteers to help make Stroll Weekend a success and still has room for a few more vendors at its Expo.

Strolling of the Heifers Weekend is June 3-5, with the agriculturally-themed downtown parade scheduled for Saturday, June 4, at 10 a.m.

The Stroll is always looking for volunteers to help out in a multitude of ways at all events, including the Friday evening Street Festival (June 3), the Parade and Expo (June 4) and the Tour de Heifer (June 5), as well as at other events year-round.

Prospective volunteers should contact Vicki Friedman, volunteer coordinator, at vicki@strollingoftheheifers.com. They may also stop in to see her at Strolling of the Heifers headquarters at the Robert H. Gibson River Garden, 157 Main St., in Brattleboro; or phone her at 802-246-0982, where they may leave a message. Alternatively, a volunteer registration form may be found at www.strollingoftheheifers.com/get-involved.

Vending locations are still available for the Slow Living Expo on Saturday, June 4, on the Brattleboro Common and on the Brattleboro Retreat grounds. Prospective vendors can register at the Stroll website at www.strollingoftheheifers.com/slow-living-expo-registration. The deadline is May 16, but earlier registration is encouraged to be sure of getting a spot.

At the website, vendors will also find event details and registration rates. For further information they should contact the Stroll's Erin Fagley at erin@strollingoftheheifers.com or 802-490-6366.
