ROCKINGHAM — What's missing from this article is an appreciation of the contribution that the Village Trustees make to our community.
Though they very occasionally forget to dot an i or cross a t, their work is 99 percent excellent, and we are lucky to have hard-working volunteers willing to take on this difficult job.
It's also important to note that even large municipalities with paid staff have trouble fulfilling every aspect of the Open Meeting Law.
