Property taxes are going up. For Fiscal Year 2019, Brattleboro landowners will pay $1.2746 per $100 of assessed value for their municipal property tax. The Selectboard approved this rate at the July 3 regular meeting. Town Manager Peter B. Elwell noted this is 5.51 cents more than last year's rate. It's also more than the original budget called for.
