Wunderle headlines latest edition of Putney Vaudeville

PUTNEY — Next Stage Arts Project present Putney Vaudeville, back by popular demand, for a family matinee featuring Troy Wunderle on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 4 p.m., at Next Stage, 15 Kimball Hill.

Putney Vaudeville is the ongoing project of director Rebecca Waxman and musician Peter Siegel and other members of The Gaslight Tinkers. A showcase for first-class entertainment and community talent, the event includes a stellar professional act, a rousing house band, assorted friends and neighbors displaying surprising talents, and good-natured audience engagement, according to a news release.

Wunderle is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of art and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and a former international performer with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. For the past 14 years, he has toured the U.S. as a freelance performer and employee of Vermont's own Circus Smirkus. He is big top tour artistic director of Circus Smirkus, director of clowning for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and founder of Wunderle's Big Top Adventures.
