PUTNEY — We at the Putney Foodshelf thank the Putney community for the generous response to our Top the Truck food drive on Sept. 28. We collected 2,261 pounds of food and $2,182.12 in cash.
None of this would have been possible without the help of a number of people and organizations.
We also thank the volunteers - both those who staffed the event and those who moved, sorted, and packed all the food the next day - and all the kind folks who donated food and money during the drive.
