BRATTLEBORO — In observance of Veterans Day, all town offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, with the exception of emergency services.
Parking is free at all metered spaces and in the pay-and-display lots. All other parking regulations will be enforced.
Brooks Memorial Library will be closed.
The skating rink at Living Memorial Park will remain open for its normal hours, and all Recreation & Parks programs scheduled after 1:30 p.m.will take place as planned.
Trash, recycling, and composting will not be affected by the holiday. All curbside pickups will take place on the regular schedule.
The Current's public bus routes will run on their normal schedules. Any questions should be directed to Connecticut River Transit at 802-460-7433.
A Veterans Day service will be held on Friday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., at the Carl M. Dessaint VFW Post 1034, 40 Black Mountain Road. All are invited to attend. To RSVP, contact Michael Como at 603-256-8640.
