Compass School to host Fiesta Cubana dinner and dance party

WESTMINSTER — On Saturday, March 4, from 6 p.m. onward, Compass School will host its annual Fiesta dinner, dance, and silent auction.

An all-inclusive multicourse Caribbean-inspired meal will be served, followed by the Eugene Uman Latin Jazz ensemble performing dance music. Uman is a renowned pianist and composer who is director of the Vermont Jazz Center and his band “is sure to rip it up” with beautiful Latin jazz-inspired dance music, according to a news release.

There will be a silent auction with a variety of items from local businesses, plus gift certificates, art, services, and much more. All proceeds support the junior class expedition to Cuba in May.

The wider community is invited and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 students, or $48 for a family. Contact info@compass-school.org for tickets or more information.
