Student art on display at Main Street Arts

SAXTONS RIVER — The art of Saxtons River Elementary School students will be on display at Main Street Arts from March 9 to April 21 in a show entitled “98 Works of Art.”

All current students will have pieces hung in the gallery, with an opening reception for them and the public on Friday, March 9, from 5 to 6 p.m. Members of the student council will be selling snacks to support school projects.

The exhibit provides a unique opportunity to see the developmental process of young artists spanning five grades and to have a community celebration of the young artists and the value of art education.

The Main Street Arts Gallery is made possible by a gift of the Windham Foundation and hosts exhibits of individual artists and groups.
