Seniors plan Project Graduation fundraisers

TOWNSHEND — Members of the Class of 2017 at Leland & Gray Union High School are fundraising for their Project Graduation, to be held at Snow Lake Lodge at Mount Snow.

Here are some of their upcoming fundraising events:

• Dining for a Cause at the 99 Restaurant on Putney Road in Brattleboro on Tuesday, April 25, from 5 p.m. to close. You must have a ticket voucher to hand to the waitress, and 15% of the meal will be donated to Project Graduation.

• Bubble Soccer at Leland & Gray on Sunday, April 30. From 1 to 3 p.m. on the L & G Athletic Fields, teams of four will compete against each other while encased in giant plastic bubbles. Teams will be assigned to one 15-minute time block between 1 and 3 p.m.

Registration fee is $20 per person; visit goo.gl/HVIfZL to sign up. Age divisions include elementary school, middle-high school, and adult.

The admission fee is $5 for spectators. Concessions will be on sale throughout the event.

• 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are on sale through May 7 at $1 each, or 6 for $5. A raffle winner will be picked at the second annual Sip and Swirl Brunch Event on Sunday May 7, at 11 a.m., at the NewBrook Fire Department on Route 30 in Newfane.
