More than 460 children got winter clothing this season

BRATTLEBORO — United Way of Windham County thanks our 224 Kids in Coats Fund donors for providing $24,613 for kids in this community. Over the past five months, we have been given opportunities to raise funds and provide information at 14 events.

More than 460 kids in Windham County were able to access the winter outerwear that they needed to stay warm this year because of the Kids in Coats Fund. We would like to thank all school nurses, administrators, early educators, case managers, social services staff, and anyone else who served as a referral source and assisted families in applying for Kids in Coats assistance.

We are so tremendously grateful to all our partners and supporters in this community. Thank you for keeping kids warm!

Our work continues, even as the weather warms. Donations toward the goal of $50,000 can be made throughout the year. If you would like to learn more about the Kids in Coats Fund and how to donate, visit us online at www.unitedwaywindham.org or call 802-257-4011.
