BRATTLEBORO — The Vermont Center for Crime Victim Services will come to town as part of its second series of victims' listening forums.
The organization, established by state law, provides compassionate, victim-centered services to victims of crime and collaborates with partners across the state to develop and support new programs, invites all victims and survivors of crime, including business owners and family members, to share their experiences in the criminal justice system with the goal of improving the way the criminal justice system treats victims.
The free, public event takes place Monday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Brattleboro Union High School.
Similar forums are scheduled for St. Johnsbury on Oct. 25, Middlebury on Oct. 30, and North Hero on Nov. 7.
The center also invites people to submit written comment to victimfeedback@ccvs.vermont.gov.
