Pianist and vocalist Mike Kelly to perform in Newfane

NEWFANE — On Sunday, May 19, at 7 p.m., Newfane Congregational Church hosts a concert by pianist and vocalist Mike Kelly.

Refreshments and fellowship will follow in the church's Fellowship Hall downstairs.

Originally from Cincinnati, Kelly has been a professional pianist and vocalist for over 25 years and has been the music director of the Newfane Congregational Church since August 2017.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, he has taught music theory at Miami (Ohio) University and served as the music director of several regional theater productions. He lives in Brookline with his family and a growing menagerie of pets.

This concert will feature a variety of music, from classical selections to Broadway and popular standards, along with favorites from the traditional and modern church traditions.

The concert and reception are free, with an opportunity to make donations in support of similar events in the future to provide venues for the many talented musicians of our community.
