Retreat Farm hosts Harvest Festival on Oct. 6

BRATTLEBORO — Retreat Farm is celebrating fall with a jam-packed Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Featuring local food trucks, craft beer, antique tractors, pumpkin bowling, cider pressing, farm demonstrations, Abenaki storytelling, and live music all day - Harvest Festival is a celebration of everything that makes Vermont and Retreat Farm so special.

The day will feature musical performances by Tom Carroll, Logan Boyd, Strangled Darlings, Wyld Nightz, and Low Lilly, a fresh shipment of beer from The Alchemist, wagon rides, and more than 20 vintage tractors.

The Children's Farm and Forest will also be open until 5 p.m., with a barn full of kid goats, piglets, lambs, and chicks.

Dosa Kitchen, Jamaican Jewelz, Cai's Dim Sum, and Cherry Rail Farm will be serving fresh local fare all day. Plus, Retreat Farm's pop-up bar, The Thirsty Goat, will be serving Vermont craft brews, hard cider, wine, and kombucha.

With support from WW Building Supply and New Chapter, Retreat Farm Members will enjoy free admission to the festival. Admission for non-members is $15 per person. Children under 2 are free. All activities are included in the price of admission. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
