BRATTLEBORO — The Main Street Flea Holiday Pop-Up, which recurs every year during the first weekend in December, will take place from Dec. 5 to Dec. 8 at 61 Main St., next to Shin La restaurant.
More than 20 local, rural artists have come together to create the store this year. Using an unoccupied storefront, they will be offering works in a wide variety of media at a range of prices.
Come see Rob Cartelli's wheel-thrown porcelain pottery, Julia Tadlock's handmade gemstone jewelry, Kivimea Farm's dried flower wreaths, encaustic paintings by Vale Burns, live portrait photography by Ezra Distler, healing tonics by Tiny Pony Apothecary, Sarah Rice's illustrative art, ceramic creatures and vessels by Judith Thomas, Dar Tavernier-Singer's scrimshaw jewelry, and more. Artists will be available to discuss their work.
Local singer and songwriter Shea Witso will perform at the opening gala during Gallery Walk on Friday Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Flea hours are Dec. 5, 4 to 8 p.m.; Dec. 6 and 7, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Dec. 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
