Thanks for putting family first

LONDONDERRY — MacLean Gander, thank you for your Viewpoint. After I read it, I did my weekly Bible lesson. I read James 3:17 “the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.”

I admired the grace you expressed that day, also the divine and human wisdom and mercy also. Having just taken another safe-driving course, we are taught to never leave a vehicle and engage with any person acting badly. I also admire all the groups praying and acting upon a more compassionate Brattleboro.

Thanks for putting your family first, and the other drivers.

Also, I read the Bible lesson in Matthew 7:24–25: “whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

Thanks for building upon compassion, and not fear, pride, and anger.
