Manhattan as epicenter is no surprise

PUTNEY — An epicenter of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Manhattan (22.83 square miles), always looming large everywhere, actually is much smaller than Brattleboro (31.83 square miles; U.S. Census Bureau Quick Facts).

Manhattan's population is 1.6 million. Brattleboro has more than enough room for everyone. Imagine!
