Canal Street Art Gallery hosts new group show

‘Art! Just in Time’ highlights art from Bellows Falls gallery’s 20 represented artists

BELLOWS FALLS — Canal Street Art Gallery, 33 Canal St., presents “Art! Just in Time,” an exhibit that runs through Feb. 27 and whose artists will be guests at 3rd Friday Gallery Night Live with the Artists on Facebook on Friday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m.

Now in its fourth year, the gallery said in a news release that it “continues sharing and appreciating new art while helping to support the artists who create it.”

The CSAG “is excited to meet the promotional needs and online commerce demands of its artistic community with its announcement of expanding programming in 2021 to present 12 exhibitions,” the event organizers write.

The ART! Just In Time exhibit is the inaugural group show to premiere new artwork, for one month once a year, from each of Canal Street Art Gallery's current roster of 20 represented artists.

The gallery said the Feb. 19 event includes the announcement “of some very exciting and notable newly represented artists whose artwork is premiering in this show.”

Featured artists include Clare Adams, Jean Cannon, Spaulding Dunbar, Nancy Fitz-Rapalje, Alexandra Fraser, Kathie Gatto-Gurney, Corinne Greenhalgh, Carol Keiser, Nicholas Kekic, Marcie Maynard, Jeanne McMahan, Lisa Eckhardt McNealus, Martha Nichols, Charles Norris-Brown, MC Noyes, Phyllis Rosser, Melissa Rubin, Matthew Saxton, Gretchen Seifert, and Rodrica Tilley.

One may explore the Art! Just In Time show in person, Wednesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., in parties of two at a time.
