BELLOWS FALLS — Canal Street Art Gallery (CSAG), 23 Canal St., presents its annual Art for All seasonal group show, sharing the gifts from the many artists of this region and marking the gallery's fifth year.
The show opens Friday, Nov. 19 and is on view to the public through Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022.
Take part in celebrating with more than 26 artists from the community and beyond on Third Friday Gallery Night from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 15, meet the artists and watch the live Artist Talk at 6 p.m. on Facebook, or explore their work at canalstreetartgallery.com.
This year's Art for All show is the gallery's 28th exhibition since it opened in 2017.
“Many friendships have been made in the gallery in response to the collection of amazing artworks from this creative region,” Proprietors Mike Noyes and Emmett Dunbar said in a news release.
The group show “supports the gallery's mission to represent and exhibit contemporary artists in all styles and mediums and to offer an open space where all creative voices may be heard, while keeping the purchase of original art attainable to all collectors including the seasoned, new, and unexpected.”
Noyes and Dunbar say its roster of represented artists and artwork “continues to expand, as does the breadth of the audience appreciating and collecting art from all the exhibiting artists.”
To raise awareness and money for public art, the gallery says it is donating 1 percent of profits this holiday season to a fund for the maintenance of existing public art in the town of Rockingham.
“In support of this, artists will include work in the show which is appropriately sized and priced for gifts, offering selected artworks priced under $100, $50, and $25,” Noyes and Dunbar noted.
Canal Street Art Gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Noyes or Dunbar at 802-289-0104 or artinfo@canalstreetartgallery.com.
