Friday

BRATTLEBORO — • Art glass at Solinglass (third floor-A328). 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Watch molten glass being transformed into magnificent art objects. 

• Art and film by Mutsu Crispin (third floor-A334). All day. Exhibit of new visual art work and film in progress.

• Circus at New England Center for Circus Arts (third floor-A300).  10 a.m.–noon, watch their Professional Training program students in rehearsal, meet with one of the coaches for information on circus training, performing careers and more.

• Dance at Luminz Studio (third floor-A346). Watch and try dance classes. Kids dance sample classes with Jennifer, 10 a.m.; belly dance sample class with Cyndal, noon; Afro Jazz dance performance with Marshall, 12:30 p.m.; fencing sample class with Ian, 1 p.m.; Dance Lab (improv group/watch), 4:30-6:30 p.m.

• Film at the Center for Digital Art (third floor-A358). 10 a.m.–4 p.m. High school film class: Stop by and explore Final Cut Pro editing software with the students, 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m.; using new digital technology - try your hand at drawing on their 12-foot projection screen, 1-4 p.m.

• Food : Sidehill Farm (first floor-A110). 25 different jams and toppings to sample; True North Granola, sample products. Both all day.

• Massage on the third floor (roving). Massage therapist Sabina Gutsell offers free sample chair massages throughout the day.

• Painting at Sylvester Studios (third floor-A357). All day. Watch a scenic backdrop being painted, make a portrait of a friend, or create a decoration for the tree while getting in the holiday spirit.

Pottery at Natalie Blake Studios (third floor-A330). All day. Ongoing demonstrations of throwing and carving pottery. 

Saturday

($10); tots and parents (age 18 months-4 years), 10:30 a.m.; age 5 -7,  11:30 a.m.; age 8-13, 12:30 p.m.; teens and adults 13 years and up, 1:30 p.m.; German Wheel (third floor-A300):  $2 gets you a 5-minute class on the wheel. 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (NOTE:  Anyone under the age of 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.)
