WILLIAMSVILLE-Ian Goodnow is a thoughtful and compassionate young man we've known since he was a student at the University of Vermont. We are proud to call him our son-in-law.
We live in Newfane, so we can't vote for Ian, but we do support his candidacy to represent District 9 in the Vermont House of Representatives.
We know Ian to be a careful listener and a collaborative problem solver who has demonstrated both his commitment to Brattleboro and his leadership abilities on the Selectboard, during a global pandemic and with three town managers. These qualities give us hope for new and lasting solutions to the problems we're leaving his generation to solve.
Ian is good now and for the future of Vermont.
