‘The notion that Israel has repeatedly sought peace and its wars are only defensive is baldly baseless’

BRATTLEBORO-It is no exaggeration that the first days of October saw more than one million Lebanese flee in fear of a military onslaught. Disputing this number - well-reported as it happened - is the first of many willful deceits infecting Rhonda Wainshilbaum's reply.

The notion that Israel has repeatedly sought peace and its wars are only defensive is baldly baseless as evidenced by its never-ending assassinations, abductions, massacres, incursions, and invasions. At this moment, north of the Netzarim Corridor, nearly a half-million besieged Gazans are told to escape and never return; those who don't shall be murdered. Many Jews are camping outside, eager to settle the ruins and claim the land as their own, the latest of many ethnic cleansings on behalf of the chosen.

Sniveling "security" is pretext posing as principle. Nowadays it serves as a platitude which justifies bombarding Beirut, annexing the Golan Heights, seizing Jerusalem, slaughtering Gaza, brutalizing the West Bank, and relentlessly gang-raping Arab hostages held in Sde Teiman.

The heartless heartbeat of Hasbara is heard in the cynical cry of "self-defense" smugly snorted by countless IDF war criminals who celebrate their savagery on social media.
