Center for Solace hosts Remembrance Ceremony

BRATTLEBORO-Center for Solace, formerly Brattleboro Area Hospice, invites the community to its annual Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Memorial Garden in Living Memorial Park, 61 Guilford St.

This event offers a space for family and friends to honor and remember those who have passed away over the past year.

The ceremony will feature songs performed by the Hallowell Singers, enhancing the atmosphere of reflection and remembrance.

After the ceremony, attendees are invited to participate in planting annuals around the garden and creating personal remembrance stones-an opportunity to contribute to this space designed especially for honoring loved ones.

"Living Memorial Park holds a special significance for our community, being the only public garden in Brattleboro dedicated to remembrance," Colleen Savage, development and communications director for Center for Solace, said in a news release. "We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating the lives of those we cherish while enjoying the beauty of our Memorial Garden."

Everyone is welcome to participate in this meaningful experience. Center for Solace looks forward to gathering as a community to honor those who have passed away and to foster connections through shared memories.
