WILMINGTON-Cornerstone Housing Partners/Support and Services and Home (SASH) in partnership with Senior Solutions, the area Agency on Aging for southeastern Vermont, will host the 11th annual Deerfield Valley Health & Wellness Fair on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Old School Enrichment Center, 1 School St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is free, and there will be a free lunch of hot soups and bread.
Older Vermonters and their caregivers often are unaware of the opportunities, services, and resources available to them. This fair offers a "one-stop shop" to find the services best suited for their needs.
Exhibitors this year include Senior Solutions, Cornerstone Housing Partners/SASH, Bayada Home Health Care, Care in Vermont, Center for Solace (formerly Brattleboro Area Hospice), Deerfield Valley Community Partnership, Deerfield Valley Rescue Inc., Dover Free Library, Efficiency Vermont, FCP Live-In Home Care, Green Mountain RSVP, The Moover, MyHealthyVT, Senior Medicare Patrol, Sharing Housing Inc., U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, Vermont 211, Vermont Department of Health, and Windham County Dental Center.
