NewBrook Fire and Rescue readies for annual silent auction

NEWFANE-NewBrook Fire and Rescue's 23rd annual Silent Auction is set for Nov. 29 through Dec. 8.

Donations can be dropped off at the Fire House on Tuesdays, Nov. 18 and 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. New or gently used items, such as handcrafts, antiques, holiday items, gift certificates for goods and services, specialty baskets, household goods, and furniture are accepted. All used items must have all parts and be in good working order.

Silent Auction sponsors are also sought. Interested persons may make a tax-deductible donation to the NewBrook Fire & Rescue. Checks should be made payable to NBFD with "Silent Auction" in the memo line and mailed to the NewBrook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 77, Newfane, VT 05345.
