Carl Goulet and Sandiland & Vincent at Stage 33 Live

BELLOWS FALLS-Stage 33 Live presents a two-for-one 3 p.m. matinee with Carl Goulet and Sandiland & Vincent on Sunday, Jan. 25.

“Like many rural musicians, Carl Goulet is a hidden gem who flies a little under the radar,” wrote organizers in a news release. They described him as “an honest and heart-forward performing songwriter with the chops and fluency of artists who get a lot more attention,” as well as “passionate, sometimes political, sometimes humorous, always thoughtful.”

A description on ThunderRidgeRecords.com of Goulet’s album Gazebo says it “is a stripped down, unplugged set of songs,” each of which delivers “a message conveyed passionately, humorously, and backed by thoughtful acoustic guitar arrangements.”

Similarly, Sandiland & Vincent, an acoustic musical duo made up of Vermonters Sandi and Vincent Anderson Girot, have “carefully honed their craft over years, producing songs with beautiful arrangements and tight, rich harmonies,” said organizers. They formed their duo in 2020, yet both have been playing original tunes and covers for decades.

Tickets are just $10 in advance through stage33live.com or at the door as available; advance tickets guarantee entry. Only 40 tickets will be sold. All the ticket money goes to the performers. The performances will be recorded and filmed.
