DUMMERSTON-Please join me in voting for Daniel Everlith for Dummerston’s representative on the Windham Southeast School District School Board. I am very happy to be able to vote for a younger and very-well-qualified candidate, one who is involved in the school and the community.
Daniel was previously working within WSESD as a school counselor for the Vermont Learning Collaborative, providing behavioral support for students, assisting them to be able to return to their regular classrooms.
Daniel’s background is in family and marriage therapy and has many years of experience supporting children in the school system. Previously he worked with families and children, providing behavioral and emotional support to reduce placements to other classrooms and other districts. Before that, he had worked with juvenile probation for school refusal and truancy.
Daniel and his wife, Jessica, moved to Dummerston because of the quality of the Dummerston School and are parents of two children who are enrolled there. Both parents are very much involved with the school activities.
Daniel is working with the school’s Family Involvement Team, made up of parents and administrators who volunteer for event planning, fundraising, and community engagement. Jessica is currently holding the school board seat that Daniel is running for. They both really love the Dummerston School and its excellent teachers and staff, and they are very happy being a part of the school, the students, and the Dummerston community.
Daniel feels that investment in education and the health and wellness of Vermont’s children should be our state’s main goal. He believes strongly that local rural schools are the heart of a community and values that connection between the school and the entire community.
Please exercise your right to vote and vote for Daniel from Dummerston.
