BRATTLEBORO-Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation's (BDCC) annual Summer Career Bootcamp will return this summer Monday through Friday, July 13–17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Brattleboro.
Students have the option to participate in just the morning, or the full day. Morning sessions will feature the bootcamp's hallmark soft-skill workshops, exploration of career pathways, and behind-the-scenes glimpses at various local businesses. Afternoons will include 1-on-1 career coaching, job internship application support, and next-step career planning. Lunch will be provided.
The Bootcamp is designed for rising juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who are unsure of the step beyond high school and want to learn more about career pathways right in their backyard.
The trainings are led by Christy Betit, BDCC's Pipelines and Pathways Program manager, who works year-round in every Windham County high school, providing career education and experiences.
This is the fourth year BDCC has run the program at Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro. To learn more about the Bootcamp, check out last year's program at bit.ly/858-bdcc.
