BRATTLEBORO — The following is the schedule for the 55th annual Brattleboro Winter Carnival. For additional information, visit www.brattleborowintercarnival.org:

Friday, Feb. 18

• 4:30 p.m., Brattleboro Winter Carnival Torchlighting at Wells Fountain, with Frosty.

• 6:3o – 8:30 p.m., Scavenger Hunt, starting at Gibson-Aiken Center. $5 per team. Registration starts at 6 p.m. See program for details.

Saturday, Feb. 19

• 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Winter Carnival Outdoor Fun Day at Living Memorial Park. Snowmobile Rides, Free Skating, $5.00 Skiing and much more! Co-Sponsored by Brattleboro Savings and Loan.

• Noon-2 p.m., Sugar-on-Snow at Living Memorial Park, $3. Hosted by the Brattleboro Rotary Club.

• Noon-4 p.m., Retreat Petting Farm, Route.30, Ages 12 & older, $6; 2-11, $5. For more information, call 802-257-2240.

• 1-4 p.m., Sleigh/Hay Rides at Fairwinds Farm on Upper Dummerston Road. Adults $6, Children 12 & under $4.

• 10 a.m., Children's Concert with Les Julian, at Gibson-Aiken Center, 2nd floor gym. All seats $3, 60 and over free.

• 11:30 a.m., “Grand Day” Lunch at the Brattleboro Senior Center. Must be with someone 60 or older. $2 for children, donation for seniors and $5 for all others. Call 802-257-7570 for reservations. Lunch will be served at noon.
