BRATTLEBORO-Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation (BDCC), through its Windham Leadership Series, and the Brattleboro Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a southern Vermont Lieutenant Governor Candidate Luncheon Thursday, Sept. 10, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., at American Legion Post 5 in Brattleboro.
The luncheon will provide an opportunity for both candidates, Lt. Governor John Rodgers and former Lt. Governor Molly Gray, to introduce themselves and speak directly with southern Vermont business, municipal, nonprofit, and community leaders about economic development, workforce, housing, infrastructure, and other issues important to the region.
Following candidate comments, attendees will have the chance to participate in moderated discussion. The intention is for regional leaders to hear directly from the candidates and better understand their perspectives on issues that influence southern Vermont’s economy and communities.
The Windham Leadership Series brings together leaders from across the region who want access to timely information and clear data for meaningful cross-sector discussions about the forces moving the local economy. Each session features a speaker who’s achieving results — someone with practical experience, useful data, or insights that help attendees to see new possibilities for Windham County.
