TURNERS FALLS, MASS.-Unnameable Books, 66 Avenue A, an independent bookstore selling new and used books, will host a reading featuring writers Edite Cunhã, Robin Lippincott, Pamela Mandell, and p.j. melton Saturday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m.
The featured readers will present poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.
Cunhã is a writer, artist, and activist. Her work has appeared in Puerto del Sol, The Massachusetts Review, and SWWIM Every Day, among others. She reports her honors include a Heekin Group Foundation Prize, a Tara Fellowship for Short Fiction, and fellowships from A Room of Her Own Foundation, Disquiet International, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
Lippincott is the author of Blue Territory and five other books. He lists publications featuring his writing as The Paris Review, American Short Fiction, and The New York Times Book Review, among others. A recipient of fellowships to Yaddo and MacDowell, he teaches in the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing at Spalding University.
Mandell is an editor, manuscript consultant, and writer living in southern Vermont. Her story in The Louisville Review was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2025, and her essay in The Los Angeles Review received a Notable Mention in The Best American Essays 2016. Her work also appears in FEED, La Piccioletta Barca, Provincetown Arts, and other publications.
Melton is a poet, essayist, and graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop whose writing appears or is forthcoming in The Iowa Review, the minnesota review, f(r)iction, and Superpresent, and is also a widely recognized thought leader throughout the U.S. green building community.
