Senior Center to offer free flu and Covid vaccines

BRATTLEBORO-The Brattleboro Senior Center will host its annual Free Flu and Covid Vaccination Clinic Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the lower level of the Gibson-Aiken Center, 207 Main St.

Flu and Covid vaccines are free to all seniors who have a red, white, and blue Medicare Part B card, which they must bring with them, organizers said. People with Green Mountain Care coverage and “most other insurance plans” can also receive shots, they added, and should bring insurance cards from those plans.

To register, call 802-257-7570. The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m., but the clinic “will accommodate walk-in requests for vaccinations as needed,” according to a news release.

To find out whether you qualify for the clinic, call the Hannaford Pharmacy in Keene, New Hampshire, at 603-357-0423 and ask for Adam, who will be administering the vaccines.
