BELLOWS FALLS-Alex Radus and Stuart Fuchs will perform Sunday, Sept. 27, at 3 p.m. at listening room Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge St.
Radus is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who combines “whimsical and poignant storytelling and soulful vocals,” organizers said in a news release. He performs a mix of Americana, folk, swing, and blues, “leapfrogging genres and blurring the lines between them,” according to the release.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Radus learned finger-picking at the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, West Virginia, and was part of New York City’s anti-folk scene in the early 2000s.
Fuchs is a classically trained improvisational guitarist and ukulele player who “blends mindfulness and music,” according to organizers, achieving “genre-bending ukulele instrumentals and soulful songs.”
Also a teacher, Fuchs offers workshops at schools and businesses, including one called “Improvisation as a Spirit Path.” He offers sound-healing services at yoga and retreat centers as well as healthcare facilities.
Stage 33 Live is a 40-seat listening room. Organizers describe the venue as casual, intimate, and industrial-rustic; it has no bar or kitchen. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at stage33live.com or at the door.
