BRATTLEBORO-Poets Terry Hauptman and Roxanne Bogart will read and present artwork Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at ByWay Books & More, 399 Canal St.
Hauptman, who “reads her poetry rhapsodically,” according to a news release, will share work from Lapis Blues, her ninth volume of poetry. She is also a visual artist who exhibits her mixed-media “Songline Scrolls,” which draw from multiple sacred artistic traditions, throughout the U.S.
Bogart, a conservation biologist who retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2025, will share poetry and illustrations from her collection All That Sustains and will read more recent poems as well. Her nature poems and essays have appeared in a number of journals and anthologies.
