BRATTLEBORO-The annual Lego Contest & Exhibit will return to Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC) Thursday through Monday, Oct. 8–12, with an awards ceremony Thursday, Oct. 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the museum, 10 Vernon St.
In addition to a Best in Show award, BMAC will offer prizes by age group, and local business will sponsor awards for the best vehicle, best home or building, best use of light or color, and best use of moving parts.
“The goal of this event is to bring people together in the spirit of play, imagination, and creativity,” said BMAC Director Danny Lichtenfeld. “We love seeing families, friends, and neighbors gather at the museum to check out each year’s new crop of inventive creations.”
To enter the contest, participants can submit an online form (bit.ly/lego-form) and a $5 entry fee, then deliver their creations to BMAC Tuesday, Oct. 6, between 4 and 6 p.m. Fee waivers are available.
