MARSTONS MILLS, MASS.-I am writing in support of Chris Lundberg who is a candidate for the Vermont House of Representatives for the Windham-3 district.
I met Chris over 40 years ago the first time I ran for the position of Windham County state's attorney. Over the years, Chris and I would frequently see each other at the gym in Bellows Falls. During these encounters we would often engage in discussions regarding the community and political issues.
I observed Chris to be not only dedicated to his workout routine but to be compassionate and fair toward others and their positions on the issues being discussed.
Chris's own opinion on the issues was always based on the full set of facts and never based on a rush to judgment. I know him to be intelligent, hard-working, and possessing a strong sense of community.
If he is elected, I believe Chris will serve his constituents well by taking the time to study and understand the topics and issues presented and to cast his votes with the best interests of his community in mind.
Chris is a very hard worker and will put forth the effort to represent the interests of the voters from his district. Although not backing away from the best interest of his constituents, he possesses the skills that will enable him to work on a bipartisan basis - something that is often lacking with today's political leaders.
