Want change in Vermont? Vote Democratic.

PUTNEY-Vermont Democrats have put together a team of candidates at the state and local levels who have the energy, experience, drive, and determination to move Vermont forward and out of the stagnant morass Republican leadership has left us stuck in.

Republican policies from the federal level are hurting Vermont. Big time.

The lack of Republican initiatives at the state level leave us ill-equipped to deal with what the Trump regime has foisted on us with their economy of "have nots and have yachts."

And the worst is still to come. Their plan in their Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Budget Bill was to put off the deepest cuts until after these midterm elections.

The new year will bring even more cuts and more chaos - as good a reason as any to counter with voting for the team of candidates Democrats have put together to bring calm and get to a forward looking direction.

Democrats are ready to push forward into the future rather than stay stuck in the past.

They are ready to acknowledge, rather than deny, the reality of climate change, as this president and governor are doing. They are ready see the opportunity, economic and environmental, in clean energy, conservation, and efficiency.

One such example: the electric vehicle I drive, which cost $28,000 new and gets me around at a cost that's equivalent to $1.20 a gallon of gasoline.

Whether they're positions on housing, healthcare, education, or the higher costs of just about everything, Republican policies are making it harder just to get by, let alone get ahead.

From tariffs to ICE raids spreading terror across the state and nation, these policies just plain hurt.

Want change, Vermont?

Vote Democratic!
