First Wednesdays talk in Brattleboro with New York Times reporter David Sanger rescheduled

BRATTLEBORO — The Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesdays lecture with New York Times chief Washington correspondent David Sanger, originally scheduled for Dec. 5 at First Baptist Church in Brattleboro, has been rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.

The talk, “Confront and Conceal: Obama's Secret Wars and the Surprising Use of American Power,” is part of the Vermont Humanities Council's First Wednesdays series and will be held at the same location at 7 p.m.

First Wednesdays is held on the first Wednesday of every month from October through May in nine regional hub communities statewide, featuring speakers of national and regional renown. The program is free, accessible to people with disabilities and open to the public.

The Vermont Department of Libraries is the statewide underwriter of First Wednesdays. The First Wednesdays series in Brattleboro is sponsored by the Crosby-Gannett Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation.
